The world seems to be shifting, upgrading, and speeding up, but something still feels off. Your life might be going through its own upgrade, especially if you’ve done your shadow work and still walk with a piece of your villain side. Not from anger, guilt, or obligation. From absolute peace.

We all have some good and some evil in us. Think of those old cartoon characters with a halo hovering over a girl, wings on one side. Meanwhile, the other side shows the little red horned figure laughing. These two images represent our inner light and dark side.
If you have recently found yourself saying “that’s it!” you may be heading toward an upgrade in your life. One that aligns with not only your dreams and goals, but also with your soul’s purpose.
Being around the same people who seem to say or do hurtful things can lead us into the dark knight of the soul. That one person who triggers us to yell out, “enough,” then sends us on a deep internal dive into our own patterns, beliefs, and habits. When we see where we have taken a direction away from our divine joy, it can feel like a vampire stake just pierced a part of you that is so uncomfortable, it becomes intolerable.
The Shake up, Wake up, and Upgrades
At that point, it seems that those other people are no longer around. No calls, texts, and sometimes old photos disappear right before your eyes. As your upgrades take place, things that no longer fit you get pushed into a different layer, a different timeline than where you stand today.
Waking up to this isn’t easy when the quiet moments dominate your mind and affect your body, yet your soul knows exactly what’s happening. You are not the molded, sculpted, people-pleasing person you once were, and the universe helps to clear that out, asking one major question:
Are you really ready to get those dreams and follow why you are here in the first place?
The testing, timing, and realization that nothing is happening to you but for you can weigh heavily. A clear indication that everything you’ve lost (things, people, dreams) was actually built on the wrong foundation. Meaning it wasn’t built by you, but by others who narrated your identity. Most likely, they narrated your life to something that wasnt really true.
Their version of you isn’t the real you!
So here we are, ending a nine-year cycle measured time and time again; a new beginning is arriving.
It’s meant to be this way, where waiting can push a button, triggering the old saying, “patience is a virtue.” If you find yourself asking when, where, or why everything isn’t here, you are being given a divine opportunity to know.
Knowing does not measure in time.
If you’ve followed me over the past decade, I equate “knowing” with: we don’t know how, when, where, or why, but somehow we know it is on the way.
That's the perfect alignment to begin new ventures when, out of the blue, invitations come your way. New people arrive with suggestions that only your higher self knows are right for you, or they say, “I appreciate that,” and move on.

Testing isn’t punishment; it’s a deep check to make sure that when you receive the abundance, prosperity, or whatever else you are creating, it won’t get lost in the past. No more falling for old traps that made you feel like you were being pushed over the edge. Not even a whisper of betrayal or manipulation can feel normal. But if they are really good at that game and somehow get you emotionally involved, you’ll soon recognize it and walk away.
That is when the real proof arrives. When knowing becomes reality in everyday living.
